‘In Bloom’ started as an experimental piece where techniques of layering paint, merging different elements together and incorporating abstraction with realism were at the forefront of the artistic process.

This artwork was inspired by springtime, the season of new beginnings and the celebration of life, as nature is reborn once again after the winter. ‘In Bloom’ was created with a vibrant colour palette and delicate elements such as flowers, butterflies and flowing water are combined to not only represent natures gifts but also divine femininity and the notion of rebirth.
