‘Eternal’ was created with the intention to capture movement and free flowing energy through abstraction. A mixture of bold expressive brush strokes, textured paint and flow techniques have been applied to portray this and also represent that everything in life eventually finds its flow and rhythm. Sometimes very slowly and other times more smoothly and with ease. The contrast between the textures and application of paint is representative of the friction and ease we experience on a daily basis. Intertwined with this are the ‘golden nuggets’ or highlights that we take away from our experiences, sometimes we can miss them but when we are in flow and at peace with the present moment, we can truly appreciate these moments. As the eye is led from the focal point upward towards the edges of the canvas, we are left with a feeling of endlessness and continuity. This is a reminder that life goes on and will continue to flow long after we have left this place.

Artwork is printed on premium archival 308gsm Hahnemühle smooth cotton rag paper. The listed dimensions refer to image size. All prints are produced on acid-free papers using archival inks to guarantee that they last a lifetime without fading or loss of colour. All larger prints include a white border around the edge to allow for future framing and matting (A3 size and larger).
