'The Voice Within' was created for the Denmark Festival of Voice as the main promotional piece for the festival. The main focus was to showcase the elements that make up the voice and convey its fragility, ethereal qualities, boldness and strength. Voice is ultimately the person behind the words, their words, songs, conversations, truths and emotions. With this in mind, 'The Voice Within' was created in a more abstract style with flowing paint strokes that swirl around a figure. Gold pours from the lips, moving upward into the background where waves of energy and frequency travels.
